Latest
SearXNG's Google engine returning nothing — often with no error — is usually a CAPTCHA redirect followed by an engine suspension, especially on VPS and VPN IPs. Here is how to confirm it, the free settings to try first, and two ways out: a residential exit IP, or pointing your SearXNG client at a compatible API.
Snippets aren't enough for Claude Code or Cursor: coding agents need the accepted answer, the GitHub issue thread, the full page. Here is what to look for in a web search MCP server, and how to set up Search1API's hosted MCP in Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and OpenCode.
Google's Custom Search JSON API is closed to new customers and ends for existing ones on January 1, 2027. Here is how to keep your cse().list() calls and items parsing — including LangChain's GoogleSearchAPIWrapper — by pointing them at a compatible endpoint, and what does not carry over.
Jev answers typed questions with calibrated probabilities instead of generating text. Here is how Search1API’s Agentic Search API uses it to detect search intent, route a request to the right engines, and rerank every result, so your agent reads fewer off-topic results.
Buy Search1API credits in any amount from $5 to $2,000, keep them until you use them, and optionally refill the balance automatically when it runs low.
The newest Model Context Protocol revision removes sessions and the initialize handshake. Here is what actually changed, what it means if you run a hosted MCP server, and how to talk to Search1API's Hosted MCP over the new protocol today.
