1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SuperAgents, LLC ("Search1API," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Search1API websites, dashboards, APIs, OAuth flows, command-line tools, Agent Skills, plugins, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors (collectively, the "Services"). It also applies to related sites we operate, including search1api.com and xiaohong.life.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, organization information, support messages, and other details you provide when creating an account, subscribing to updates, or contacting us.
- Authentication and billing information: account identifiers, OAuth grants, API-key identifiers, subscription status, credit usage, and transaction records. Payment-card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by Search1API.
- Search and retrieval inputs: search queries, URLs submitted for crawling or fetching, source and engine choices, site include/exclude filters, time ranges, sitemap targets, trending-source choices, and other tool parameters.
- Search and retrieval outputs: source URLs, titles, snippets, page text, sitemap links, news results, and other content returned through the Services.
- Usage and technical information: timestamps, request type, response status, latency, credit consumption, client or plugin type, device and browser information, IP address, diagnostics, error details, and security events.
- Website information: cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and service operation. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling some cookies may affect the Services.
Do not include secrets, passwords, private keys, payment-card data, sensitive personal information, or content you are not authorized to process in search queries, URLs, prompts, or tool inputs.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- authenticate users and authorize API, OAuth, CLI, plugin, and MCP access;
- perform web search, news search, page retrieval, crawling, sitemap discovery, trending analysis, and related requests;
- return source-backed results and citations to the client or agent that initiated the request;
- meter usage, apply credits, process subscriptions, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve the Services;
- provide support and communicate service, policy, or product updates; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and acceptable-use rules.
4. Agent, Plugin, and MCP Data Flow
When you use a Search1API Agent Skill, Claude plugin, OpenAI plugin, CLI, or MCP connector, your host application sends the tool inputs needed for the requested operation to Search1API. Search1API may send a query, URL, or related parameters to search engines, web-content providers, network providers, or other services needed to complete the request. Results are returned to the host application, which may process or retain them under its own privacy policy.
Search1API OAuth access tokens and API keys are used to authenticate requests. They are not intended to appear in tool results. Hosted MCP session credentials are kept for the active session so authenticated calls can be completed. You should not place credentials in prompts or tool arguments.
5. Service Providers and Third Parties
We may share information with service providers that help us deliver the Services, including hosting and network infrastructure, identity and authentication, payment processing, analytics and error monitoring, customer support, email delivery, and search or web-content retrieval providers. We provide only the information reasonably needed for their function and require them to handle it under applicable agreements or policies.
Queries, submitted URLs, and related parameters may be transmitted to the selected search, crawling, or data provider to fulfill a request. Third-party websites and source content are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain account, billing, usage, request, support, and security records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accurate credits and transactions, investigate incidents, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirement. Information may remain in backups for a limited period before routine deletion.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or isolate it from further use, subject to legal and operational requirements.
7. Your Choices and Requests
You may disconnect an OAuth client, revoke credentials, delete or rotate API keys, and stop using a plugin, CLI, or MCP connector at any time. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information by emailing sys@search1api.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure. Keep API keys and OAuth credentials confidential, use least-privilege access, and notify us promptly if you believe a credential or account has been compromised.
9. International Processing
Search1API and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy with a revised date and provide additional notice when required.
